I like it

I thought you touched on the subject well, I felt that you tackled it with respect.
I like the timeline between the pair, and you see the relationship develop.
I would have liked to see more description than dialogue, but I felt that you carried the story well within the dialogue.

It's very short, but I think that it works well that way. You just get to see these little snippets, these moments in time. You wonder what it is going on at first and then everything is developed slowly at first and then you can see very clearly and it becomes very cute. Cute as in the relationship between Brendon and Ryan, not the other factor. I think the factor of the abuse played in very well though. I think my favorite part is when it kind of all finally hits Ryan and he just starts to cry and finally admits that the other man hit him. That was very touching and very real.
