I adore stories like these. There's some sense of magical being to it that's very lovely. I could definitely see this as a folklore or something of that nature. A myth by any means of why tears form. It was beautiful and poetic in a way. I thought about the Greek myth of Icarus while reading this. Also, how people in general want to live their life in the metaphorically Garden of Eden and when something bad happens they fall from that bliss...and the outcome of that could never be regained and personally, that's what I took from this piece. It was a wonderful read, which influenced an emotion from me.

    This is really good.
I liked your use of metaphors, and the mystery of the boy. It left a lot to the imagination.
I like the idea of climbing, the last line was really effective.
    Great job.
