Holy crap! (Can I say that?) I love, love, LOVE your writing style. I've read through only the first couple chapters but I can say with confidence that I'll be reading more. Very simply and eloquently delivered, it's almost as if reading poetry. Good stuff, keep it up! (Seriously!)

Intensity is key in any form or fictional writing; you need just enough without going over board; and I can say you did just that! Wonderful work. Another thing any great story needs is fantastic imagery (as mentioned in other comments), by doing so it allows the reader to really connect and visualize in a way that can be neglected by other authors. Really lovely story..

Wow, I love the imagery in this, it’s a style of writing I don’t see that often anymore but I like it :) Interesting quote in the summary, and I loved the first chapter, intensity just right! Anyways, I just love this whole world you’ve created, the setting and the idea of the dictatorship and the impacts, and so look forward to reading more :)

Wow!!! I'm so happy that comment swap brought me to this story. It is really good! The details and imagery you use is awesome. I like how you reveal things about the new Goverment slowly throughout the story. The flash forward was heart wrenching! Great imagery and details. Good job!!

Like others have said, with your writting it's so decriptive that I can see what you're talking about in my head. I don't have the best imagination, so that's really helpful. The dialogue is really good too, it seems natural and not at all awkward. :)

the settling you create is brilliant. how you can see it in your head, frozen and crisp and dark and teeming with fear is really nicely done. i love how she focuses on the positive, not the negative. the only crit i have for you is that it's quite hard to focus on the text because you've got things spaced weird. when you're separating paragraphs, hit the enter bar twice, or it looks really shrunken and confusing because the text seems to just be a giant wall of whatever color the font is. you've got a good start in the first chapter, so i'll definitely come and check back in on it ;)

I keep getting updates, but it looks as if you're deleting the story. I miss this story!

I love the story! I love how your writing style, description and the realistic dialog.
Also Morgana is such a bad ass, reminds me of one of my friends at school and the way she acts to people she really cant stand.

Moving on, I just thought I'd say I love the description in this story. It's so... descriptiony, although that makes little sense and doesn't really clarify anything...

and- i started a symbolism guide to go along with the story located in my journals section. it's basically all the stuff that isn't necessarily important to the story, but is in it for a symbolic purpose. and believe me, there's quite a bit! :)

I actually prefer it that way! I don't need to know the plot until I've finished the story.

Through the Looking Glass was so wonderfully written ! I loved the description of the ivory and the mirrors, it was breathtaking to read.

I agree! I loved 'lie beside me,' by the way. Their pseudo-friendship/tension is really interesting and I'm excited to see it develop regardless of the direction you will take. (Though, I obviously would love for them to have a thing!)
