Gah, I adore how you pull me in with your writing. Your description of the moon and the fireworks was so lovely, and I could picture it perfectly in my head. I feel so bad for little Mikey; his dad is such a donkey. D: And then it was so cute when Mikey talked about Frank’s smile being one made for breaking hearts and how it had broken his and gah. It was so adorable/sad. To be honest, I can’t specifically point out anything I liked, because that would just end up being me copy and pasting the entire thing and displaying it back in a comment. xD
My favorite part was this paragraph, however:
He wanted to go back inside the house and shoot every single person that had dared to call the beautiful creature in front of him a fag. He wanted to rip off the heads of every person in the world who said that being in love with another man was wrong. He wanted to climb up to Heaven and kill God himself.
He wanted to kiss Mikey.
*dies*
I do love fluff even though it gets pointless and plotless at times, but this was just pure adorableness.
