Love this! It reminds me a little of Breathless in the narration style (not in a bad you-stole-it kind of way, but in a hey-looks-like-we-were-both-inspired! sort of way) but it has the awesome twist of past and present actually happening at the same time instead of just remembering things. *Sigh* she totally shouldn't have run away. My biggest pet peeve is when people continuously pat on you to get your attention
