I know you don't proclaim to be an FBI agent or and expect so I think you did an amazing job with the story line and details. I'm just a surprised hat he gave her so many details about the care. But other than that honesty it was amazing and I was hooked, I read it in what? 1 hour?

Hair read the first few chapters and I'm continuing but I just wanted to say that I love it so far. The detail given down to the quote at the beginning, spot on! And I can't wait to get to the Morgan story.

Okay so, I gave this story a shot and it's better than I thought it would be, but there are issues. The issues being that while you do seem to have a firm grasp on what the characters in the show, with the exception of Reid, are like, and you even decently showed the villain, you don't seem to know much about how the police or the FBI work. First of all, Fritz would have initially been classified as a spree killer, not a serial killer, due to the fact that it's multiple victims over a time frame with little to no cool down time. Second, you said the FBI got to the scene 'minutes' after the call and I'm assuming that was just a mild error. Here's the thing, I'm not here to make you feel bad.

This is a solid effort and a well done effort to capture what happens in the show and the characters. However, I don't suggest people attempt to try to write Spencer Reid since honestly the difference between his IQ and the average population is greater than the difference between the average population and someone so mentally deficient they can't take care of themselves. That's not an insult in any way, but to point out just how extremely difficult a character like Spencer Reid is.

The case was iffy about how it was handled, but then Spencer kept talking to Shiloh up until the court case. That is a BAD idea for him to keep talking to her since he's one of the arresting officers and is also testifying. Any first year law student would be able to figure out to use that as a way to try to claim that Shiloh was told what to say in her testimony and therefore make her testimony null and void. Another thing is that you had the girl, Katie, deemed 'insane', which probably wouldn't have happened. You see, there's a very narrow set of guidelines you have to fulfill in order to be deemed not guilty by reason of insanity. She'd have to demonstrate that she could not tell the difference between right and wrong at the time of the crime. That is very hard to prove, which is why it's only used as a defense in about 1% of cases and it's only effective in even less. I full on cringed though when after the professor's outburst in trial, the judge sentenced him right then and there. No. No. No. No. No. That is not what would happen. Fact: I'm 99% positive he'd get a jury trial, so it's not even up to the judge on whether the defendant gets guilty or not guilty. The jury decides it and in some cases, the jury also decides the sentencing. In the states where they only decide guilt, the judge MIGHT sentence them then and there. More often, though, there is a second court hearing entirely just to determine sentencing.

Sorry about the ranting about that, but I have a Bachelor of Science in Criminology so it's a personal pet peeve of mine when people misunderstand the judicial system. Also, just a slight thing you might want to think about is upping the rating of the story to NC-17. I say this, because you do have a fairly explicit sex scene, as well as an oral sex scene in this story and I do believe that bumps the rating up to NC-17.

I literally just read this entire story in an hour, because it's that good and gave me major Spencer Reid feels! I really can't wait to read the ending!
