With the suicide method down his throat and the bloody barrel resting peacefully, he thinks about his father. He always used to tell him to take his life into his his hands; to assume responsibility. The writer smiles around his gunmetal. It must have looked a little bizarre, with the drying tears and everything. But he's finally doing something right; taking his life in his own hands. It's time to see his raven-haired artist. He thinks he's pretty smart to be wearing red.
