I can understand Scarlett being hard to relate for some, because she's the character that I poured a lot of my crippling insecurity and self-defeating tendencies into. She's not psychotic or bipolar, she's just the persona of the "lost child."
Anyway I rant. I'm glad you found it interesting! (:

I just read this whole story...
It's very interesting!
I wonder mostly about what the slender man represents. At first, I thought he was Death. Like, the Grim Reaper. But the more you describe him, the less he seems to be Death. I also wonder what the forest symbolizes.
It's hard to identify with both characters, but Scarlett even more so. Sometimes it's annoying though how low her self-esteem is. . . but at the same time, maybe she is actually psychotic.

I skipped writing chapter 21, and I have 22 done!
How mindless is that? haha.
But I'll update soon, promise.

This story is written very well. I absolutely love it!

This is rather different. I can't tell if I like it or I don't. It's definitely interesting and I keep reading it want to know where it's heading. I just feel intrigued. I'll let you know what I think once I catch up :)

This is a really cool story! I love the flow if it, and even though there's a lot of telling, it's done in an experienced way. I also like the push and pull of the two characters, it's well thought out and I really like it.

One thing to think about, though in these two sentences:
"She couldn’t be sure nothing was really there, she struggled to grasp the boundary called reality. Instead she ignored it, as much as she could."
There seems to be a bit of an inconsistency. Why would she struggle for reality when she only wants to ignore it? Anyway, I believe I understand what is being said here. To me, it sounds like it's being established that she's a bit crazy. I think if you just tweaked the above sentence a little, it would sound better.

Anyway, really cool story and I'll have to check out more when I have time! Subbing for now. :D
