I really quite like this! It seems like you've got the characters & the plot all nice and stable in your mind and I think it's obvious how much you like writing this :) and you dedication shows!
I really like your writing style too, and the way you male the characters & Merthyr appear.
I think my one comment would be that you need to just read over your summery again. I don't know if it's just me but it just seems a bit awkward, like you tell the story but then go back over the story again. I think it could just do with some work, I don't mean it in a horrible way! So please don't take offence. I think it's just the first sentence really. Like you could say, "Dee Morgan had decided to run from her past etc. But when she get's struck by a freak storm, she gets stuck in the tiny Welsh village of Merthyr and loses hope etc." I love the 'And then Sean turned up.' though, I think that really works!
I also love the picture on the layout :3. The layout in general is awesome, like the colours and the background and everything :D
I hope you don't take offence to my comment, I just really love this and this the summery kind of lets it down a little, but only because the rest of it is so awesome :)
