Romy's mother annoys me to no end. When she said speak like normal people i wanted to slap her. News flash: HE ISN'T NORMAL. He's deaf & that's just the way things are.
Though they got through dinner, in my eyes it was a bit of a disaster.

I absolutely adore this story. Romy seems so cute and Anna so genuine. The characters have their own unique personalities and the story really hits you on a personal level. Looking forward to chapter 9!

What's going to happen if Anna asks her sister for dinner? How will Romy's sister react to such a rash situation? Was dinner planned or a spontaneous thought? Tune in for the next update ladies & gentleman lol

I love the concept of this story so much. I like the dimension Anna has to her character- she's shy but she's fiery :) and I love learning about Romy with her too.

I also like Juliet's character, although I'm still figuring her out.

I don't usually comment unless I feel I have something legitimate and meaningful to say but don't et your hopes up. Reading chapter nine, it occurred to me that this was the first time that they'd interacted with each other in front of someone who didn't necessarily know about Romy being deaf. I wondered how odd it must seem to onlookers, Anna talking and Romy signing, and it reminded me of a scene I witnessed a little while ago. I was in a shop with my friends, waiting for them to get their food, and I noticed the security guard talking to a man. I thought at first he was reprimanding him but then I realised that he was joking with him and that the man was signing back.

Something about that made me so happy, I felt peaceful and content when I saw it and that is also how I feel when I read this. The image of Anna and Romy talking is so beautiful, really touching.

I'm not even sure why this doesn't have like a gazillion comments & all that jazz. I love this story like adore it & all its quirky characters.
I'm very glad to have found it & look forward to the next update.
To go into deeper appreciation of this story there are no typos that I've seen whatsoever. The imagery between the deaths of the parents & the rain was wonderfully depicted. You have this simple way of writing but still manage to paint the scene & setting for the reader. Quite lovely.

I love what you have so far. I can't wait for the next chapter to be up!
