I don't like Zia. She reminds me of this super-duper religous kid that always has a fucking bible shoved up his ass at my old school, David. He gave me and my boyfriend SHIT for being gay. This one day while we were in the bleachers before school, he came up and sat by us. Then he went on this whole speel about how if we confessed our sins and chose a more straighter, and more christian, path, we'd rescue our souls from Satan and hell and be able to live with our wonderful creator in the promised land.

I punched him. Broke his nose. I got expelled for it. Why? The principal is just as religous and homophobic as David is. To protest, all of my friends got their parents to sign off and they transfered schools with me! If it wasn't for them I would have probably started cutting again.

People like David and Zia don't realize the impact they can have on people. Sure, you aren't supposed to let shit get to you, but my parents have hardly acknowledged me as their son since I came out. I gave up so much to be who I am and then they decide they don't like it and that they're right so I'm wrong and that makes me puplic enemy #1.

UGH ZIA'S ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE KILL HER NOW. Sorry, sorry, I just hate those people. I'm not a lesbian but I'm not straight either and I have a lot of friends who get shit from "those people" and I just want to rip their heads off. My cousin had a friend like that at her birthday party and I was talking about I think my friend and her girlfriend so she goes on this whole rant about "I don't hate homosexuals, I just hate their sin" bitch almost got jumped, no joke my cousin literally had to pull me off and talk me down, cos I was gonna go off on that ignorant piece of shit >:(

:) Wow, All of your stories make me smile. THis is so great and once again it's a multi-ethnic couple, which I love! It makes it so much easier to imagine as real. This is so great and I love the title, is just rolls off the tongue. I love De'Vonte generally his personality and his name (I'm pretty sure I know like five De'Vonte's). He's such a sweet adn caring guy, but also confident and funny He's my favorite. Kyle's pretty awesome too, except his confusion :( makes me sad. Anyway, I love the musical aspect of this that seems pretty true and the setting. I like that you don't forget that there's other things they have to do besides be with each other, which many authors do forget. Overall, I really love this story adn I will keep reading :)
