i normally am not a fan of stories written in a chat/sms-ish way only but your stories are doing it in a good, not boring way because you never tend to write things in this obnoxious "OMG so happy 4u, tlk 2 u l8tr" style.
Keep it up and down let a report pull you down

poor depressed flower... we all want our smiling happy flower back. i can't imagine how tough it was/is for him to let his best friend go after all these years.
but honestly i just don't understand those people who are burning their talbot jersey's. i mean are they serious? the talent and the worth of a player in the clubs history does not change because of moving to another club. i mean sure picking the flyers as a penguin is not the most ideal thing to do but the fans also have to see it from max position...

And I'm aware your author's note was directed toward me so I'll say I am NOT telling you that you can't write that way because you can, and I like that you're doing this. And I didn't mean that I didn't like YOU saying you had a problem with Max, I meant the team- in this story. And okay, I wanted to tell everyone why it wasn't fair that they do that to Max. I didn't mean to sound like a hater. I just got lots of feelings for my Superstar.

But no, really, no hard feelings at all on my end.

No, I don't like this. Nobody should be calling Max a traitor based on the fact he went to Phillie because they offered him more and gave him a better change to be a better player. Ray Shero didn't believe Max could be great, that's why he didn't offer him long-term OR anything reasonable. But Philadelphia did, and that says something about Pittsburgh. Try and put yourself in Max's situation. Would you work at a job that wasn't paying you what you deserved and not offering you what you deserved? No, you wouldn't/ You'd work in a place where you know you can do good. Max has the utmost respect for Pittsburgh, have any of you read the things he's said recently? The utmost respect. The least anyone can do for him is have a fraction of the respect he has for you all. Does anybody realize that Sidney Crosby is probably the only guy on the current roster that will be with the Pittsburgh Penguins for his entire career?

I'm sorry, but I can't stand it when someone, anyone turns on a player based solely on the fact that they left their favourite team for a better opportunity. As much as it angers me and makes me sad, I loved this update. (but I know for a fact those guys aren't gonna turn on him. Especially Flower, those two are best buds til the end.) There's lots of drama now. :)
