well I have to say that this is somewhat familiar though mine wasn't quite as severe I got out before it could get that way and really made me cry but I still love the way you capture them its almost as if you yourself or someone close to you has been abused but I won't push that subject anyway I love this story and can't wait to find out what happens update soonish please :)

It seems that Zacky is jusr stuck in this hole that just tells him to hit Kayla.

She could have told the police the whole truth of what Zacky been doing for her, but she didn't. she still loves him and a part of her still believe he might change. she really needs to find a way out of this relationship...Zacky just been hurting her.
Maybe a trip back home to see her Uncle is what she need. it help her think things out clearly.

Well... that's depressing. Although, I love this story. *sigh*

oh my gosh. poor kayla, i hope she is okay. zacky needs to control his anger. it started developing in extra credit and now has completely taken off! kayla is silly for going back to him, but there are moments when zacky is so sweet and loving, so i guess she can't help but hold onto that because that's what she is still hoping for from him. this story is so powerful. i'm so worried about kayla and zacky. their relationship was doing well in extra credit and now things have just gone down the hill really badly. zacky must still be upset that he can't teach anymore because that's the power he had over kayla and he still wants to have that power over her, but its not like he can give her detention, so i guess he hits her ): i know you say this is a dark abusive story, but i do hope that we can see some sweet side of zacky at some point, more off. gosh, your writing is so good. i feel so sucked into their relationship while i'm reading, you are doing a fantastic job. i'm glad you are back!!

I guess after being away from Kayla for so long, ideas formed in Zacky's head.
Like how her family is trying to persuade her to leave him, or if she was seeing other guys and that fear began to build up inside, eventually going over the top.
Then he saw her, he could help but beat her into submission.
When he tried to force himself onto her, she fought back because she didn't want to be raped by him and then what Shaun told her would be true, Zacky is a monster.
Man a head wound is really bad especially if the head sustains more injuries!
