Hmm... so, I just stumbled across this story, and decided to check it out. I really loved what you had of it, and am really bummed it was never continued.
I really love Alex and Stella's dynamic. They have the same attitude, so their hostility towards each other is definitely believable. I'm glad that eventually work through that, though, and become friends. :) I also liked where this was headed with a possible relationship between the two; bummed to see that that hadn't happened quite yet.
I love how musically involved Stella is, as well. I can tell from reading that, you definitely know a lot about music, whether you researched it specifically for the story or it being something you just already knew a lot about (I'm thinking the latter based off of your author's notes). So, that was really neat how you applied the terms in this story; it definitely made the story more precise and perhaps one of the most detailed, when it comes to music techniques, that I've read. Usually, ATL fan fic writers will skip over those details, so I'm glad this was different. May have learned a thing or two on that front as well, haha. :)
This all being said, upon getting to one of your later chapters/the author's note... I can kind of agree that this story was a bit discombobulated. I feel that a lot of scenes were skipped out on, that probably would've been important to include. For instance, during chapter 14, when they snuck out... I feel like something went down during that night that wasn't discussed, especially considering how Stella was acting afterwards, but then it was never brought up again? It was really weird, and then this happened:
I handed his pink bass to him before leaning back into the seat, my fingers inattentively moving to brush my lips.
Which makes me think that Alex kissed her, and it was totally skipped out on? What? Or maybe I just read into that a little too much, but it just... I was lost with what happened here, because it seemed like something significant did, but then it was skipped over. Maybe you planned on coming back to that at another time, I'm not sure.
Also, the timeline sort of confused me. She goes to them towards the end of the school year, but plans to be there until prom with them, the next year? When, originally you mentioned her staying for a few months, that then turned into eight months mentioned at one point... but even with the extension, it's actually more like a year that she would end up staying with them, so... idk, that was just extremely confusing to me. I guess it was something you were changing without realizing it. Would just be something to clarify if you ever do come back to this.
Okay, critiques aside, I really did love what you had of this. This definitely has the recommendations it has for a reason. You're a really great writer, aside from these two aspects I was confused on. You're very detailed with the music aspects as I mentioned, and you make Stella a believable character. :)
It's been four years since you last updated this, and hell, I'm not even sure you've been on Mibba since then, but... just wanted to leave a comment letting you know I will be here to read and leave feedback if you ever choose to continue the story. I think after all this dedication you put into it, it deserves an ending, even if it's just a final chapter wrap-up or something. Would love to know how things turn out for her and Alex. :) But I understand losing inspiration, which is probably what happened here. I really hope my comment maybe inspires you, though, to continue someday.
If not, at the very least, hope this feedback gave you a smile. I hope you're still writing on your own time, as well, because you definitely have a skill that shouldn't be wasted. <3

I don't remember anything you've left out maybe a bit more of her background but I think that's it. I think you do show the dynamics of how their relationships changed, in my opinion at least. I really love this story and hope you continue it soon. :)

Please please please don't change anything about this story! This is my favorite story on here!! The only thing I can suggest is maybe relate this to the song Stella more? And holy shit I want Alex and Stella to just get together already! That might just be because I'm going through the same sexual tension right now in my personal life but whatever. I love this story so much!

I knew that Ryan liked her before, but this totally proves it. I really hope that Ryan does disappear for a long time, because he just makes Stella mad, and that makes me mad. I like how Stella and Alex react around each other. It's nice. I really like their relationship right now. It's cute and friendly and not too lovey-dovey. I hope their relationship stays friendly for a while, because I hate it when two people just rush into a relationship after they stop fighting. They should just stay friends for a while before anything serious happens. I can't wait for Jack to ask Jeannie to prom! It's gonna be so cute!!! Thanks for the update!!!!!!
