It's been a while, Jenn, good to see you haven't abandoned this story. I like that Avery opened up to Adler without giving away too much. She's a strong chick. Love it.
I love how relatable Avery is! Such a well thought up character! I totally feel like her sometimes because I also play hockey and have a lot of friends from that and sometimes I just feel like one of the guys. Keep it up! This is an amazing story! Yay for you!
Yes, he's kind of an asshole, however I find Royal to be interesting. He definitely runs hot and cold. Sometimes he's surprisingly nice and then he's a douche again. But then again, aren't all guys like that? I just wonder how Avery will handle spending so much time with him.
Also, I'm not sure if you tagged your story, but you might get more views and feedback if you tag it with something like "Hockey", "Toronto" or "Sabres" or even a specific player. That will definitely boost your views and comments.
Don't get discouraged with the lack of comments. It's hard when you first get started. Anyway, it's interesting that you have an original male character with a significant role in the story. You don't see that too often. Or at all, actually. Please continue, love.
So, I'm loving that you're update-happy. I'm liking it so far and Schenn's crush is kind of adorable. And I love the Leino cameo. For a second, I was like "what the hell is Ville doing there?" And then I remembered he's a Sabre now. :(
Can I just say that you've read my mind. I have new story in the works and the main character's name is Avery. Annnnnyway, so far so good. I like that Avery is driven, school and hockey can't be easy. I also like the playful banter between her and her team mates. Also, her middle name is pretty cool :) I can't wait to see where this is going.
