Just wanted to let you know that I just read this story & it's been one of my favorite when it comes to falling in love with the kidnapper, I really enjoyed reading it. Don't know when it ended, but I really really loved this. Great work.

New reader here, and holy crap I'm digging this :3 The pace is smooth and nearly flawless. I wasn't bored for even a single second during the whole story. And I love Val. So damn much. Her last line, "... you better pull some magical shit out of your ass," is the best thing I've ever read, LOL.

Kara's a great character. What I've seen a lot these days in stories are the typical Mary-Sues, but what sets Kara apart is that she does have flaws, and that she doesn't handle situations with a completely rational, level head. Her reactions are unexpected, yet they make sense if someone was put in such a predicament. The beginning really proved that.

It was all just very real, and I pretty much love this entire story. The way you've got it set up, with Karen being the talent scout and her father the doctor was a stroke of ingenuity. You know what? It's also something I can really see Avenged getting themselves into, with Matt and his temper and all.

I can't wait for the next chapter!

Also, I vote a thousand and three times for a sequel.
