So I really love the idea behind this whole thing. I am such a sucker for transgender characters, and they're hard to come by.
I really like that you made Max kind of a bad ass, what with his tendency to get into fights and whatnot. But I think what I like the most about that is that his voice gets high when he's frustrated. That just seems really cute, and I love it.
I also love that Mina was so accepting about everything. And that even though she had suspicions, she was kind enough to never bring it up. That shows a really good person, I think. If they're kind enough to know that you would say something about it if you were ready, then they're definitely someone you want to keep around. And that goes for anything, really.
But anyways, the only thing bad I have to say about this is that it had a little issue with the flow. There was just a little something that was lacking in how everything flowed.
Other than that, I really liked this story and it turned out awesomely. Great job!
