Its relateable and they way you describe very mundane tasks is good.
There are a few minor errors with spelling and grammar but nothing major and it could be fixed if you went through double checking.
overall i like it, you get the point across and you really get a sense of the anticipation building :-)

Well, it's definitely relateable & I really liked the repetition of time, it adds a lot. You didn't have much description, but it works because you didn't need much of it to get the point across. I would however suggest that you got someone to proof-read for you because I stumbled across some spelling errors & such. Regardless, you did a nice job.
