Bree, your writing always amazes me! I loved every single word of this, from beginning to end! I smiled, then felt as if I could cry, and then I smiled again. lol. At first I wasn't sure what to make of Lucy being so fragile, but when I read that she had been diagnosed with cancer, I felt my heart break for John. And John, I loved how you conveyed all of his thoughts. I really felt like it was how John would think about that - inspiration. And inspiration, I loved your take on the song!
