This is amazing so far! I love these type of vampires rather than the messed up sparkling ones :D

Your use of detail, words and sentences are amazing. I do suggest replacing the second "corner" in this sentence:

It was why the two hunters in the corner who thought themselves so clever watched him from their little corner.

with something different because it sounds a bit redundant. But I'm just being picky XD

I haven't read any stories about original vampires. The evil-and-you're-just-food kind. It will be interstng not reading on where the vampire somehow falls in love with a human mate and then BAM! Twilight moment where the elders or someoen try to kill them. So... the hunters are cleverly watching him but they don't know what he is? Are they watching everyone ever so cleverly and just waiting for the right moment to get snapped in half? I like this story already, I can tell the detal and such will be perfect just like every of ther story. Am I the first to subscribe? I vaguely remember this happening before. =)
