Wow okay so I must say this before anything else, you are an amazing writer ! You have so much detail and all of your words are either colorful or just plain awesome! I am kind of jealous of your detail lol because I couldn't give that much to save my life!
Anyways I rather enjoyed this book, You have a great idea formed here and even with so little of chapters I would have to say you realed me in pretty fast. That Max girl seems a bit odd but from what little you've said about her she cracks me up!XD I want to jump fenses like her! lol
I felt mixed emotions about this story because you had humor, but so much sadness because I wouldn't be able to take it if my mom had cancer. He deals with it so well and is so determined to help her feel better. This wish upon a star theme is great and I am very intrested to read more! Don't give up on us commenters! Keep writing and more shall come.:)

Oh my I think I might be in love. Excellent beginning, and I love the way you make Finn's feelings come through. Your descriptions are just fantastic as well. I can't wait to see more of what happens, and that ending, definitely not a 'meh' in my book. Don't be so hard on yourself!

Why this story is just darling! I want to hear more about this girl in this bathtub because it makes me very curious!

Also this Max girl... she reminds me of someone I know very well. Who is also a bit off. Oh, wait, yeah me. :l

I almost cried though when you described Finn getting all upset that everyone was thinking it was the end for his mom. I would through tantrums. I would probably smash things and it just wouldn't be pretty. Those people at that one place with those certain meds that's suppose to HELP and allow one to LIVE are surely DEPRESSING. You used your excellent writing skills to describe that.

One last thing, this guy. Finn, a nick name, reminds me of Adventure Time. And I do love that show. Quite a lot. And I love how you used that name, intentionally or unintentionally.

So, yes GOOD WORK. Loving the story. Oh, beeteedubs, the last part of the chapter isn't meh. It's rather OH GAWD YES LOVING IT WORK IT WORK IT OH RIGHT AWESOME. :D

Oh my goodness gracious. I've been saying that a lot.
But anyways. This story is such an amazingly beautiful idea, and I cannot wait to read more. This character is one the the coolest you've ever created.
I may not be able to give you a long comment like the one above^^ but I can say this: You've got me hooked, sugarpants (:

First off, the title. I think the title is cute and the short description about the girl in the bathtub made me chuckle.

Secondly, layout. I like the colors you used in the layout. Purples are always kind of dreamy/spacey to me. The banner is nice, really. I like the way the stars look, and it even looks like there's some stardust there. :D Ninety percent of your body is made up of stardust. The rest of it's a mystery. Sounds extremely awesome.

The summary sort of threw me off. I was like, "Whoa, serious time," because I wasn't expecting it due to the short description. Nonetheless, there's nothing wrong with it. I'm already understanding an aspect of the character because of it, so I guess it's good.

Okay, finally, the prologue. It was a lot shorter than I expected with no grammar or spelling mistakes as far as my eyes can see. This gave me a really good idea of the character. He loves the idea of being a hero so much that he occasionally likes to relive it and reread those comics. (He was probably the coolest kid ever, by the way.) I assume he likes cars or at least knows a bit about them, since he gets the car magazines. He also seems to care about what his peers think -or, more specifically, what girls think, since he's stopped being an awesome hero because girls weren't into it.

My old comic books are still in the attic somewhere- the 'somewhere' makes it sound like he doesn't quite know where they are in the attic, which goes against the rest part of the sentence: and sometimes I go up there and look through them for hours, imagining myself beating up bad guys in a skin-tight costume. Could just be me, though.

But I've learned that there are just some things that you can't save. Foreshadowing, maybe? I think you should take out the second that so it's But I've learned that there are just some things you can't save. In my opinion, the sentence reads a lot smoother if you do.

Overall, I really think this is going to be a good story. I think Finnegan is awesome and I'm interested in how things work out with his mother and the girl in the bathtub. I'm subscribed. c:
