from the comment swap! this is definitely a different fandom/fic than i'm used to in all elements, but i like it! i only read about halfway mostly because i'm short on time, but i love the relationship you've managed to portray between them already. the only mistake i can find is sometimes you don't end sentences in a period, and just leave it hanging, so that might be something to look out for! otherwise, nice job.

I really, really, REALLY like this story. It’s so well-written and interesting! The ending was soooo cute and I can’t believe I didn’t get to follow this as you wrote it but I’m sure going to have a good time going back and reading and then going to check out Colour :D

So i'm here from comment swap and I love it when it gives me a story like this. I'm not used to reading something like this and I must say, I really do enjoy this so far. I absolutely love the relationship between John and Alaska. I don't really know who The Maine is but I am instantly hooked on this. I didn't see any grammar mistakes and that is a very pleasing thing.

Alrighty I'm from comment swap, and since I put in a five-shot and I'm short on time, I've only read five chapters for now. I love how Mibba always sends me fandoms I'm not familiar with, because it's really opening my eyes to the plethura of amazing stories on this site!

I absolutely love the relationship between Alaska and John. It's so adorable. I'm really that familiar with the Maine (like I said before) so I'm not exactly sure who this John guy is, but that doesn't really matter. There weren't any grammar mistakes and the layout is simple and fits the story, so extra points for you. The summary also did a lovely job of drawing me in, which I enjoyed. So many stories don't have a summary, and it annoys me.

P.S. I loved the part about him being the fifth...that made me laugh :)

Agh, I am so so glad that Alaska called off the wedding. I'm so glad John Sr. called her out on her emotions. I really just want her to be with John, because it's breaking my heart to see him getting all torn up, and knowing she wants him too.
