So, I'm still here! and loving it. I actually just watched Sweeney last night (the DVD has been in the TV in my room for about 6 months at this point) and before I read this chapter I reread a few chapters back just to remind myself what was going on and found myself singing along ( we all do it at this point, and if you say you don't you're just in denial!) This is by far my biggest addiction at the moment :) But, then again, what is there not to love about Sweeney?! I can't wait for the next update :)
Aaaahhhh darling. Still here. Lucky you. One of a handfull, out of a hundred or so, that I'm still inclined to read on this old site. Love to be able to see it through to compleation so please continue. It's such a yummy pairing. Wouldn't want to miss even a bit of it. So. Continue at your leisure.
Oh, updates! It’s been a while, my dear, and I do apologise for my absence, but now I’m back (from outer space) and all a quiver with anticipation for these updates, so let us commence the reading!
“You have friends?” Well of COURSE he does, Mr. Todd, what do you take him for? But I found Sweeny’s reaction amusing nonetheless. Gerard has friends, awesome friends, if he must know. I love that instead of asking the important questions about what Sweeny is like, Gerard’s friends are commenting on his complexion. But I am inclined to agree, that man does look mighty pale, he really should stop spending all night… pacing. Lols! That made me giggle too much. “I’m…going to pretend that’s completely normal.” Ha, Sweeney, normal, compared to what? You? That made me giggle snort. This chapter just has me laughing all over the place, thank you very much.
I am loving Toby’s enticing little speech there, I wanted to waltz right into that shop and sample those delights too… except I’m not a big fan of priest, or lawyer, or even judge, ha. I am singing! Oh yes! Singing along! How I adore musicals!
Dressing up! Loving the costume, dearie, a fantastic and rather stunning attire. I tip my hat to you. And the drink is totally yours, do not lie! Haha.
Ooh, that ol' lady... hmm, wonder whether she's going to spoil Gerard's and Sweeney's fun? I have a feeling that some trouble is on ts way, though :c... And damn, you sure make a good Sweeney! No but seriously, you're a true Teeny-Sweeney xD <3
Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention please... I'm just going to assume I'm not the only one who always sings the song chapters. I've always loved the fresh supplies line, I love it even more when it's Gerard's.
Aw thanks for the welcome! I feel loved! I was having trouble with all of the scenes that I knew were songs because I had forgotten the tunes since its been awhile. But, I refreshed my memory and watched Sweeney three times :) I'm so glad this was the update because this was one of my favorite scenes in the movie and I sang every line :) my only other favorite is "Have a Little Priest" which you've already done. It took me awhile to realize that Gerard was half of Mrs. Lovett though. I guess I'm a bit slow haha :) so I'm writing an essay at this point so I'm just going to finish with a thank you and appreciation.
Just curious, I like literally started the first chapter but I couldn't go on without asking this, is cute little Toby going to be here? He's probably one of my favorite characters, other than Todd, in the movie.
I've caught up now XD love it! Everything about it. To answer your most recent question, I have seen Dark Shadows and I loved it! So yea, I love this story.
Ok I haven't even started yet but Sweeney Todd and Gerard Way as a first impression? Good move. I love you already :) I'll comment again once I've caught up.
Awww, ickle Gee-Gee has that love struck adorable look in his eyes, he's all smitten for Sweeney and he's starting to get obvious about it.... uh-oh! Is Mrs. Lovett going going to cotton on to Gerard's behaviour? How will she react to that? Sweeney isn't exactly the type of guy you want your children dating... then again, Mrs Lovett isn't the most normal mother, hmmm...
AWWWWW SWEENEY IS SMITTEN TOO! Ish... He needs to move on from Lucy and Gerard is the perfect guy to help him.
Eugh, exams, I feel your pain, but glad to have you back. But awww, thank you so much my dear for dedicating this chapter to me, and wow! Favourite author? I am honoured! And why wouldn't I recommend this story? It's brilliant. I'll have a rum please, I'm feeling incredibly pirate-y this evening.
