Oh my goodness, this made me fixate on The Doctor's neck, too! I love the idea behind this, that whole staring at one small part and taking in every last detail and just loving it and wanting it. I really felt for Rory in this, how part of him wanted to snap out of it but he couldn't because he was completely enthralled; I was all worried for him about what kind of awkward might happen if The Doctor caught him, too!
Also, as a side note, I found the description of The Doctor and his dialogue at the end to be really cute and very spot-on.

Matt Smith has a truly gorgeous neck, though, it's true. I don't blame Rory for being fixed on it. Your description of it is just as beautiful, seriously, the detail is just fantastic. You really did manage to project the whole being in love with just that one part of someone, it's amazing. I really, really love this.
