I liked the short summary but the author's note has to be taken off from there and be posted after the first and only chapter, to the author's note section.
You switched tenses on the first part of this and it needs a little bit of editing at parts, but the imagery is great and very interesting if I might say.
It would be nice if you turned it to an original chaptered fic.
