I'm curious about why Frank stood Gerard up. My first thoughts were that maybe Frank got having fun and put off leaving because he met someone. Rape and kidnappings didn't cross my mind at all.

I hope nothing bad happens to Frankie. =[ As soon as I read that he did not show two things came to mind, three now, I will put them in order from first thought to last:
-rape
-a fight
-kidnap

I love your description of how some of the kids had heartbreak on their mind and how Gerard tipped his hat to them, also the two words "vampire breakfast" just freaking awesome.
Frank and Gerard have such a sweet relationship, they really do. =] it makes me a bit jealous to be honest, to have someone there for you like that, and so close to you. It is such a wonderful feeling. I am proud that you can so vividly portray that in your story!
