I really liked this :) the way you explained the relationship between them was perfect and I love how Gerard so obviously was comfortable with Mikey in a way he wasn't with anyone else. I'd just like to make one suggestion; i hope you don't mind. My older brother has Asperger's syndrome as well as Gerard (in this story of course :P) so I'm pretty familiar with it. In here you sort of had Gerard struggle with words and he never really formed a complete sentence when talking. That's really more of an Autistic tendancy, to my knowledge; my brother and the other people I've met through him with Asperger's don't really have that problem. It's mostly the anti-social tendencies and the regimented routines that give Aspies away. Other than that, though, you did a great job with this story and it's clear you did your research :P
