Sorry it took so long for me to judge these, even with only three entries, lol. I've been at school. >.< But anyway, damn! I loved this! So much! It was amazing! And I agree with everyone, it'd make an awesome full-length. :)

As depressing as the oneshot ended, it was very awesome!
It broke my heart when Kari was getting tired how Matt was treating her but she can't leave him because she fallen deeply in love with Matt.
I also hated the way Matt treated her, feeding her lies that he was going to leave his wife for her just so he can keep her clinging to small hope that she can fully have to herself.
I agree with the others and I really believe you should make this a full length story!

You know, I agree with the comment above me. This would be a great story, but that's just my biased opinion since it is for me lol. But even if it wasn't for me, I'd think this would make such a lovely story cause its definitely good.

Matt clearly cares for her and like the comment by Rocket Queen, he cares for her in his own twisted way. Their relationship isn’t normal, but it’s a realistic. As much as I would love to have ended with Matt telling her he was going to leave his wife, it wouldn’t have been real. Kari is submissive to him, and even if she could date other guys, I don’t think she could. She truly belongs to Matt where she likes it or not. The affair frustrates her, but as long as she gets a piece of him, she’s happy.

The “smut” scene was very good. Even though it’s out of your comfort zone, I think you did a very good job. I was… well let’s just say I need to take a cold shower, hehe. You have way with words, Kayla and you have no idea how I wish I could your way with words. One day we need to write a co-write and it’ll be epic. Hahaha.

Gosh this was just so sad to read. On one hand I hated Matt for thinking he could call the shots with Kari when they're not even in a relationship, then on the other hand I'm annoyed and feel sad for Kari - annoyed that she lets herself get treated this way and for thinking Matt's going to leave his wife, and sad for her because she just doesn't really deserve the way he treats her and for the mental anguish she goes through each time Matt leaves without a word; how he leaves for month's at a time and keeps her wondering when he's going to come around. It's as though he treats her like a dog with the way he makes her do things for him.

The title of the chapter was really great. It fits perfectly because, before you read it, you can kind of expect the history between these two characters - that this scenario isn't new to them, and it's the same old story repeating itself over and over. And probably always will be either until Matt's wife finds out about the affair or he gets sick of using Kari.

I like how you included the fact that Matt isn't going to leave his wife ever, although he says he will. It's totally true of most married men who cheat - they want to have their cake and eat it too. And also how Matt was the dominant one but wasn't totally abusive, he cared for Kari in his own sick and twisted way and would always take care of her in a loving fashion (like tucking her into bed at the end). The sex scene was also very realistic as well, which is rare to see on Mibba.

I really loved this one shot. It's the best I've read in a while. You're such a great writer and I'm totally jealous. <3
