Amelie should be in jail for what she did. :( This is really sad. His mother should have talked to him alone without Amelie in the room when she asked him 'if Amelie did something bad to him'. The mother also seems like she would believe Amelie more than her own son. If I were the mother, I wouldn't let it go just like that. I can't believe his parents are ignoring him like that. It makes my blood boil knowing that there are parents like that and sometimes even worse. :'((
I'm a psychology student and seeing how sad and depressed he is just made me want to be good in my studies to be able to help others like him. :)

I started this story yesterday and it saddens me to know that I only got to read the last chapter, knowing I won't have the anticipation for the next chapter. But nonethless, this story was flawless. I couldn't have been more into this, it was amazing and I couldn't stop reading.
I will most definitely be reading your other stuff and hopefully can convince my mom to download Wrists onto our Kindle!

Firstly, I'm so happy you updated this story. I can't wait to read the rest of it. My stories are being written, but nothing has been posted. Wait till summer comes and the updates will come flooding in.

And I feel for you and your family. My parents had to file for bankruptcy. I'm going to a college that's 28,000 a year and I'll have to work my ass off to find grants and other ways to pay it off. Life is really stressing me out and I hate having to worry so much about our financial status. I know I'll buy your book some day, but I don't have my card on me right now and I'm not sure if I can withdrawal money from my savings account. But if I'm reminded, I'm sure to buy it (even if it's not my genre of reading, although I do love the way you write).

    Peace and blessings girl.

This story is very intruiging. You manuver such a disturbing topic with grace and I am really impressed. If you are interested, I'm in the process of putting up my own personal website on which I post my works of fiction, poetry etc. and also reviews of other stories online (if, of course, the authors are willing to have me post reviews of their stories). I would love to have your story be my first review. If you would like to check out the site it is: unhearted.webs.com
    Thanks!

Agrhhhh. Inner turmoil is a toughie.

I am really glad you updated! I missed your writing so much! It's practically the only reason I hadn't deleted my account; I was worried I may not find you again. :)

Welcome back! Life can be consuming and just take over after a while. Poor Beau it's only normal to have those types of abnormal behavior after going through something like that. His parents should have reached out or helped him a little more than go with him to the doctors and have them prescribe something to help him sleep. Sleep isn't the issue here, him being defiled is the problem and no sleeping pill is going to make that go away. Now Beau is trying to handle it himself by doing whatever he is doing, sleeping with random girls or doing drugs or something. I feel bad for Beau

I'm sad that this is going to end soon. As it is, it doesn't feel like it is. I'm hoping the next chapters bring a sense of finality and a little insight into Beau's recovery, if you are planning on him recovering. I really don't know what to say, apart from bravo. You really do convey his inner most feelings well, just by documenting his actions. :) I hope you can finish this with the finesse and style you have already been using, and that it ends on a happy, or perhaps melancholy ending. But whatever you have planned, I'm sure it will be as good as the previous.

Aw poor Beau. Like I said before it doesn't matter that Amelie isn't looking after him anymore those scars that she left behind are always going to remin within him. It's up to him if he wants to learn how to cope with what he has been through. It's tough trying to talk to someone like Beau and I feelbad for his parents as well since they feel so hopeless and as for Caroline she probably feels the same and is scared that he is mad for telling her parents having him humiliated for what happened to him. She should at least try to talk to him maybe the comfort of someone can help him slowly come out of his shell. So sad that this story is coming to an end but I loved every single chapter so far and can't wait for the next one :)

Each chapter brings more dileamas, and more of my hearts sobs. I just can't bear to not read this, I just can't help wanting to give poor, trapped, tortured and sweet little Beau a hug and to tell him it's all okay. I can see multiple ways out for him, but none seem to be possible for his feelings and fragility.

Will someone come save him? Or will he build up the courage to get out of his situation? He could perhaps run away to try and flee his fears, but then he'd loose the little he has. And even if he does survive and end the abuse, will he ever be able to live normally, and recover? I can see all fragments of possibilities for him but I am not you, so I can not say what will happen. Oh, please do udate as soon as you can!

Poor Beau it's just tragic that he was so constricted like that and to have the person who actually hurt you right there is the wrong way to go. The mother should have asked him privately he would have been more inclined to tell her the truth. No one who is abused wants the person to know what they say about them or confirm the rumors that have been spreading around. I would know. Something about not being able to open up fully is scary and admitting the truth finally makes Beau realize fully that he is a victim of abuse. Another thing a lot of parents don't or can't tell the difference when their children are acting different, they just brush it away like it's nothing. If she has any suscipion that something is going on then most likely there is. I hope the mother holds onto that feeling and watches an eye on Amelie. I was so happy when you updated and can't wait for the next one :D
