Wow. <- that's all I can say to the meat of the story because, WOW. whew, that was just. Intense.
The icing on the cake was the ending though:
his eyes land on Bert completely by accident. Bert standing on the side of the stage and is looking right the fuck at Frank, and he smirks, raising his hand and wiggling his fingers a little in a wave.
It was just that "oh shit, HE'S not going to forget" moment that just made it funny and made you go "AW" in the "aw snap" kind of way.

That probably made no sense whatsoever but I tried. :)

I have no idea why you are so self conscious about this. Not only was it probably the best thing I ever read story line-wise (because bert/gerard/frank ldsfkjadklfjl;kjaasf;lkjaflkjsdlfjas) but it was also so incredibly well written that Mibba is not even deserving of it and it needs to go on LJ with all the other wonderful, talented legendary bandon pwps, okay.
