This is beautiful. The excerpt you used as part of your description caught my eye instantly, and I knew I had to read it. I really like how you describe things, and I appreciate the passion behind the words.
I think the last line might be my favorite:
You and I, skin on skin, heartbeat against heartbeat.
Something about that just hit me and will probably stay in my head for a while.
