You need to start your story with a bang. Hello? A shock. I was totally not pulled in. (And I like these kinds of stories.) Give it some action right away, not what's-his-face stopping a woman from tripping.

Yay no cliff hanger! Glad the chicks ok and him. I also really enjoyed the remys book chapter.... "a child of light controls the darkness" <serious love that line!

"A child of light controls the darkness." now that is some foreshadowing shit right there, and I can't wait to see what kinda stuff it foreshadows xD I also kinda wanna see what kid Remy looks like xD
