I just spent an entire day reading this start to finish. Can I just say, this is one of the best things I may have ever read. Everything about this is just remarkable. I believe you did justice for second generation fics. The way you gave your characters personality was fantastic. You really hooked me into this story and it's really sad to see it coming to an end. I don't think a story has ever made me this emotional and yet be so intriguing. I was really lead on to believe John was her father and I was frustrated when it wasn't, but I knew it couldn't have been that obvious. I praise you for the brilliant plot twist and story!
You know, I read all three of your stories But What Will They Say?, Ready Now & Fuel to the Fire (which were all great) and I had absolutely no idea who Rusty was. I guess I just don't remember a Lena being in any of the stories hahah
I absolutely love this story and it's quite sad that it's over now. However, it was great how everything worked out in the end. It was adorable when Carolina was running into people. It was cute :)
i thought it was so cute when she started bumping into people after leaving work! and i'm so excited that justin wants to be there for her. i'm sad it's ending; this has been my favorite for a while!
Oh my god I actually did cry at this chapter, in the best way possible though!! That was the most perfect way for them to all come back into the picture. And I'm so glad that Justin decided to try and become close with Carolina!
Also, Austin Gibbs. I loved him so much in this story (and this chapter, what a boss haha). I am so SO excited to read the Austin story, because I will most definitely be reading it. Your writing is fantastic and I love reading it!
And apparently the comment I wrote for the last chapter didn't post. Boooo sketchy internet connection. Apologies!
This wasn't what I expected to happen, but I found out later in the story what you have planned. By planned I meant Justin being the father. I really didn't expect how Justin reacted and to think that Carolina wanted to leave was an immediate response to how Justin had reacted. It was surprising how Justin took in Carolina's existence, and even more when he found out that Lena had died.
This chapter was beyond amazing, the way you write is exquisite, and the way you formulate your story always leaves me wanting more. I just want to tell you that I'm looking forward to the next chapters and keep writing because you're really good at doing so!
P.S. I'm totally jealous that you're seeing The Maine and Mayday Parade on Halloween because I have that on my bucket list. But I am seeing them on September 31st in Manila for the second time this year. I'm unbelievably thankful that they're stopping by here again, the first was on March 31st, the first leg of the Pioneer world tour.
Oh and from experience, drink a lot of water before/during the show because I didn't and to say the least I fainted, though it did bring something good... But enough about me, I'd love to hear about your experience on Halloween, even if it is in two more months, ahaha!
Wow I can't believe I didn't even think that it was Justin.... I kind of understand why he asked her to leave because he was in shock but I kinda of want to slap him at the same time... Cant wait for more <3
Yep, I was right. It was Justin. hehe I'm sad for Carolina though that everything is going so horribly right now but she definitely shouldn't have left. She should have stayed and tried to fix things. She should have learned by her mother that running away or pushing people away doesn't help anything.
why does garrett have to be so annoying? he's supposed to make her stay and make up with brayden and talk some sense into justin not be like "oh, you're running away? sure let me drive you to the airport. NO.
I started tearing up a bit when I read the latest chapter. I understand that Carolina is upset about how everything turned out between her and Justin (I knew it was him after reading your other stories), but she shouldn't have left Arizona. However, I would probably run away as well if everything panned out that way.
On a completely different topic, you're so lucky you're getting to see The Maine and Mayday Parade this fall on freaking Halloween. They're not stopping by Seattle (yup, I live there) so I won't be able to see them at all unless if I fly off to California. Completely random, but yeah...I can't wait for the next chapter haha :)
