So, while I was trying to find something new to read on here (a lot of the authors who I'm subscribed to haven't updated in a while), I stumbled upon this story. I just finished it now, and I must say that for a vampire story, it is really well written. :)
First off, I love how Amelia's situation prior to her moving in with Nathaniel and his family was very Cinderella-ish, and how she hated it there. I also love the relationship she shares with her younger brother, and how she's always willing to watch over him, no matter what. And I also love the sexual tension between Amelia and Nathaniel when they started to discover their rather lusty feelings towards one another. How you described it was pure genius. :)
Even though it mirrors "Twilight" a lot (and I'm not a huge "Twilight" fan, I think it's a waste of paper and I'm sorry if I offended you if you do like it), I still like the basic plot of this story. This story is also so much better than "Twilight", where you give the character's actual depth, and you go into detail. Detail is one of my major pet peeves.
Upon reading that Hayden's father isn't actually Amelia's father, I was a little shocked. I'm also hoping that we'll discover who his father is, as the reader above me commented.
Bravo my fellow writer, you've earned another reader and subscriber. :)

Okay, Okay, I officially LOVE this story! I seriously just read all the chapters in a row, which took me a while because you are awesome and write long chapters - BUT, I seriously love it! I like the fact that you are writing histories for the characters too. That is hard to do and keep it all straight and interesting; which, you are doing wonderfully. Gah! My stupid computer didn't tell me the story updates, so I apologize for the lack of comments. Well I really liked this chapter, I think there's a lot more to Deidre then meets the eye, especially because Hayden was so nice to her. Anyway I loved this chapter (I always do :P) especially when Nathaniel was getting all jealous over Jake and Ams. Wonderful my dear!
