Ugh why cant charlie and jon ever be happy

Ouch - after that amazing morning of sex - and I use that word loosely - for Jon to storm out like that,calling Charlie "Ice Princess" - that has got to hurt. For Jon, and Charlie too I imagine, this was not sex. It was definitely making love.

Jon is sooo in love with Charlie - but he still has not said anything to her about it. But I am sure it is because she keeps shutting him down in that department. If she gave him the least little bit of encouragement, he would definitely tell her.

Wait until she finds out that the necklace around her neck is not some little trinket...and that Jon picked it out for her.

There is still a piece to the puzzle that we dont know - why Charlie will NOT get herself into any relationship.

Happy for the quick update!! It was great.

I cant help but think both Charlie and Jon are still hiding their feelings a bit. Jon ranting about the "cheap" necklace that "Ally" picked out - no way in hell. I am sure that Charlie will find out it IS expensive and that Ally had nothing to do with it. He probably wanted to downplay the gift, because Charlie didnt get him one. But it came off a little nasty.

As for Charlie saying she didnt want a relationship - and assumed that Jon didnt either. Wrong on both accounts. Charlie is petrified of being hurt again - and I dont think it was just Dion (although he seems like a big douche). Jon is in love with Charlie and maybe it is time that he manned up and layed it all out on the table - and I mean figuratively, not like he did to Charlie.

Sebbe walking in brought a little levity to the whole situation - and Vik wanting the updates too funny.

Well this certainly cleared up a few questions. But I can guarantee you there are still more questions to be answered.

Guys always talk about hot girls - locker room talk - but usually sisters would be off limits. I can believe that those nasty Leafs all said they slept with her, when NONE of them did. I can understand Steeger wanting out of there!!

And Jonny certainly didnt help his case any when he went after Charlie the way he did. And then the girls in Vegas. Of course Charlie figured he was a pig, like a lot of professional athletes. She was trying to protect Viktor and herself. It was only once she got to know him that she realized that maybe he didnt fit the sterotype after all. But then the lies had compounded.

I hope Charlie tells Jon EVERYTHING. He can be forgiving once, but maybe not so much if she is still hiding something.

I think Andree knows that there is something between Jon and Charlie - I think she has known for a while. Mothers just know these things.
I would love to know what is in the little box that Jon got Charlie - I am sure she would like to know too! I am glad that Vik is on board with trying to get Jon and Charlie to deal with their issues - that way the two of them can be alone to "celebrate" Christmas.

But Sierra - definitely not the mother type. And her crack about Charlie's weight....I think she was lucky it was Christmas, as Charlie has been known to eviscerate for less.

But trust Kaner to use Santa to try and get the girl!!

Can read it now. I wanted Charlie to rip Sierra! I hope Charlie and Jon make up. I wonder what he got her for christmas. I love Charlie's relationship with her family.

Charlie seems to be a good aunt and sister. I did not see her being the sister. I am with soupy I want to know what happened in Toronto. Can wait to read Jon's and Charlie's conversation.

Still wondering about the story from toronto - I am guessing that the woman Charlie is angry at is Casper's mother??
Or how about this....Casper is Charlie's child that Alex and his wife (or significant other) secretly adopted.
I am sure there are still many twists and turns in this story yet!

I must admit that i thought Charlie was related to Viktor.I thought she was a cousin or something but not a sister. Interesting.

And Sebastian,,,I also know what a stickler you are for details - I knew that Viktor had a brother at Vernont as well. What is kinda confusing me is there is also another brother - and coincidentally his name is Alex.

But obviously this is not the same Alex. But I dont think that Charlie is still involved with this guy - he is just Casper`s dad

But who is the woman who Charlie blames for everything and what did she do?

I know better than to jump to conclusions with your stories - especially with your looks into the future. I still think she is speaking to her son. Or maybe it is me just hoping it is her son, and not another man. I truly believe she wants Jon - that she is just afraid of whatever happened in her past.

Not quite sure how Tom's divorce factors into all of this... but I am sure you will reveal in time!

For some reason my subscription was deactivated and I hadnt been gettin notification of your updates. But I had a great afternoon catching up on your story.

I am disappointed that Jon jumped to conclusions about Charlie - but Charlie should have been honest with him. I am guessing that Charlie has a son who is about 4 yrs old who was conceived during a one night encounter with a hockey player - an encounter that she forgot to use a condom.

Still not sure about her relationship with Kaner - there still is something weird going on there.

Hopefully I will get the updates now and I will make sure to comment more often. I enjoy your writing so much - the twists and turns and cliffhangers really keep me hooked.
