"He's such an idiot sometimes but I will forever love that boy," truer words were never spoken! Haha. I loved the epilogue though. It was perfect to end with her parents, and them finally working out everything. I seriously really loved that part! And the banter between Ketley and Josh is always adorable. I am going to miss them! Definitely one of my favourite pairs of all time! Sad that it's done, but loved the ending!
Just read this over the past couple days and had to put in my two cents! This story was quite lovely, as we're your characters, and it was kind of exciting seeing a fellow writer from Orange County! I'm from around Mission Viejo, and I read Aneheim and San Diego and squealed! Anyways, maybe I'll see you at the next YM@6 concert! Happy writing!!
P.S. the only criticism I have is the use of the word proper; when I lived back east I had a lot of friends that were English. You used it out of context a few times, and there is other slang that could've replaced it, but other than that, this story was perfect! Pun intended(:
When i first started reading this i have to say i wasn't really that intrigued. i was just thinking o god another shy perfect yet insecure girl gets the guy with no real personality. so i decided to give it another chance and read it again. all of it. I ended up loving it. Ketley changed so much over those years that i had whiplash. but thats what made it all the more relatable. I love her character, i love what she stands for and i love the connection she had to josh. over all great story. keep at it girl! :)
Wow. Just...wow. What an ending. It all came together in the most PERFECT way possible. Yes, it was a relief to know that she and Josh finally confessed their love for each other, but it was so much more for Ketley's parents to finally accept the person she was. That is a much more important part of the ending. The epilogue was beautiful, and it felt complete. You did such a spectacular job writing this. I really don't know what to say, I'm speechless.
Awwww Josh meeting the parents and they approve of him! I am so happy that Ketley and Josh are together and happy. It seems that during the four years that Ketley has been away, they have changed from the uptight parents from before into loving parents that want to reconnect with Ketley, I am so glad that Josh was able to open Ketley's eyes that she is still in love with him and they belong together. Perfect isn't so bad and Ketley doesn't hate it anymore. This is an amazing story!
i'm sad this is finished, i was to reply on checking my emails every few days for an update on this :(. it's brilliant though, one of the best stories i've read :}!
I know I like never commented on this story, but I followed it the entire time it was up, and oh my god, I was just in love the whole time. Ketley was so relatable and Josh was the perfect cocky guy for her, and the ending is just perfect. I love this whole theme of perfection throughout the whole thing, it really gave a different outlook. I loved this story, and please write more Josh! :)
