Almost every story I write is boyxboy except one. It
was hard for me to picture any member of The
Walking Dead being with the same sex. You managed
    to change my mind.

Now you must update! <3 Please?

Oh man. I just finished watching season one of WD and I thought I was slightly crazy for thinking Daryl/Glenn, but as I've looked into some of the fanfiction I was apparently dumb to think I was the only one :P I'm also super-happy that it was something by you! I haven't read any of yours in ages asjhjfhsd D:

Anyway, this is so great. I love that the sounds, especially the scraping, is the source for the fear. I personally think sounds are a lot more threatening than what you can actually see. It's just... you never know with sounds. They can come from anywhere. At least when you see something you can (hopefully) run in the opposite direction. Sounds are freakin' shady, I tell ya.

...even when him and Rick had been wandering the streets of Atlanta covered in guts. Oh God, that episode. It was disgusting but at the same time, if I'd been with a group of people and they needed someone to do that, I think it's something I'd volunteer for...? idk. Okay, what a pointless confession. Moving on, haha.

I think Glenn's fear is really nicely blended together with the description of the Walkers. I mean, there's a lot going on here and we need to know where everybody else is as well, but at the same time you're not straying from Glenn and his feeling of fear. You also come back to the scraping sounds and I really like that :)

I love the little moment between Daryl and Glenn, with just no words and nothing too obvious. I just found it so brief and subtle and sweet - and totally realistic, considering the characters' personality. That was my favorite moment in this fic, Daryl putting his arm around Glenn's neck :)

For a moment, Daryl's face stayed twisted with irritation before slowly morphing into a weird combination of smile and smirk. Gah, I love this line simply because I can totally imagine him do that. That's exactly what he'd do. I love when it feels like I could just as well have watched that happen in an actual episode.

Overall, I really enjoyed this piece! As usual, your writing is amazing and I'm definitely glad you decided to post it here <3 Awesome job!
