I have to say, I have a weak spot for Waycest’s so this should be a pleasure on my part.

I really did like ickle Gerard, he’s adorable for a kid (I tend not to find them adorable, go figure) with such things as ‘my baby’ aww bless his ickle cotton socks. He seemed so excited to meet his little brother, it really helped set the tone, this cute little brotherly bond that so much can build on.

Gerard is just so adorable with baby Mikey, such a protective and sweet big brother already. And reading him The Very Hungry Caterpillar, how sweet. I loved that book too when I was little. It was incredibly cute how Donna encouraged him too. I think you’ve really captured that childish innocent and wonder really well, they honestly are delightful.

Oh and how sweet he is while baby Mikey grows up. Mikey is a cute little kid, even if he is ‘lazy’, ha, I’ve never seen any kids being that sweet before. But will that last? Children are fickle, after all.

But poor Gerard and Mikey, having to listen to their parents fighting like that, it’s never a nice thing to have that bear witness to that. But it’s so sweet that Gerard is trying to protect Mikey from it still. He is such an amazing big brother, so wonderful.

Those boys are so wonderful and well behaved, making their own breakfasts and washing up afterwards. I don’t even have the drive to do that and I’m twenty-three. I feel like I’ve failed a little bit at life, ha.

I’m really looking forward to seeing this develop further, there’s so much potential there, so many ways it could possibly go. But right now it’s just cute and wonderful, and I could honestly read about Gerard and Mikey growing up forever.

It's so cute!

First off; I love the fact that you’ve used a famous quote from Shakespeare as your story’s summary, a quote that everyone knows and recognizes to be his work. Love it, love it, love it! And the layout, it’s utterly beautiful. I can’t really read the font very well but then again, I can’t read black on white so it’s cool. But I love the banner, it seems really fitting toward the story.

I love the opening. Gerard is so young and adorable, you know, claiming that his baby brother is his. It’s adorable and kind of sets the tone for the whole piece. The unidentified baby isn’t his parents but his, the baby is his and his alone.

I love how worked up he’s getting about seeing the baby too. He’s demanding it, and honestly, it’s so adorable and already shows what his personality will be once he’s older. And his reaction to the baby and his name is amazing. Brilliant, honest to God! Amazing. And just adorable! How he talks to Mikey and promises him all those things. Adorable, amazingly adorable.

I love the first chapter. It’s incredible. The way you’ve set up this story makes me smile and want to continue reading it which I shall do now. Just, amazing.
