wow. that was uncalled for. she handled it nicely though. I am glad that Sid stood up for her and made it clear that it was his decision that he is not back on the ice yet. I can't wait to see what you write for the next chapter. I hope they work out their issues soon and get back together

Poor Violet, she really did not deserve all that crap. Although I thought she handled it well, it was nice that Sidney took responsibility on himself that HE did not feel right and would not be playing until he did...and that Violet had made a call that protected him.

They at least seem to be dealing with each other fairly well. I hope they continue to get their relationship back on track.

He obviously still loves her - but I guess with all they have been through and all he is still going through healthwise, he wants to slow it down and do it right. Not to rush into something and screw it up.

But he has to give her a bit of encouragement, so that there are no misunderstandings as to his motivation.

Ok - I see why Sid did this now. He really thought that Violet would be happier with Neal. But it should be pretty obvious now, that is not the case. Violet got so stinking drunk...but still realized she did not love Neal enough to have a future with him.

I truly believe it is all about honest communication - something Vi and Sid really have trouble with. I dont know if it is them afraid of being hurt - or afraid of hurting each other - but it certainly isnt because they dont love each other.

I hope they can get it together - and soon!!

I actually shed a tear...I love that you write with so much passion that I feel like my heart is breaking when Violet's heart is breaking. But please tell me this isn't the end for her and Sid. Update soon!
