I love your first chapter. You didn’t starve me for more descriptions and details like I find a lot of writers do and you also didn’t give too much. I mean for example, making your first chapter fifty million pages long and jumping straight into the complication.

You have a few spelling and grammar mistakes but nothing that can't be fixed.

I usually only read the first chapters before giving my analysis but I’m sure to read the rest of your story. I would like to say well done on a successful first chapter! I can tell this is going to be an interesting read.

This is a great opening chapter! Your descriptions are vivid, and the relationships you've established already have meaning - and in doing that, you've already given a lot of character to Amelia. I'm already attached to her and I'm wondering what's gonna happen to her, hoping that everything's gonna be fine.
