this is me, saying i'm disappointed that this is not a full length story because I LOVE THIS SO FUCKING MUCH. really, i do. it's a great plot, totally original. and i think it'd make a killer full length story. at least, the concept and characters would. but, good job, i love your writing C:

Batman totally looks like Jared.

Ugh, okay, I'm so glad you didn't make Garrett all, "I'm not going to drink because I hate parties and I'm a priss. Wah wah wah, sulk sulk." I don't know why so many people feel the need to portray him like that, like he never wants to have fun. He's just sort of awkward, okay, he's not some soul-sucking, I-hate-everyone-and-everything kind of guy.

I looove the dialogue in this! It carries the action forward and it made me laugh and it was just wonderful. The characters were great too (obvs, since it's The Maine, but also how you portrayed them in your own way). GARRETT YOU CONFUSED LITTLE BOY.
