I'm sorry, but she's dumb. Obviously John loves her more than he loved Sumner. That's no reason to sleep with someone. Anyways I still like this chapter and I can't wait for more.

My guess at Cally's fatal flaw : "I wanted John to love me like he loved the beautiful and curvaceous Sumner." Then she goes on to talk about how that's the main reason why she slept with him. She's still jealous of Sumner, and is trying to prove to John and herself that she's as good if not better than Sumner.

I have a guess on what her fatal mistake is, and it's cally is going to sleep with John not just because she loves him, or because she's 'ready' but because she wants him to love her like he loved sumner's 'curvaceous body'. I don't even know if that made total sense.
