Dribble Me a Drabble Contest: Okay, I absolutely love this.
The Layout: I love this photo, for starters—great pick. The colors match well. I wasn’t sure about the wood background, but ballet is danced on a wood floor, isn’t it? I was in a beginner class when I was really little, but I haven’t a clue, to be perfectly frank. I love that the story area is so thin—that’s very visually appealing. The only “eh” I have is the link color. It’s a little hard to see, but it matches, so…I’m not sure what other color would go…
I can’t even begin to express how much I love these short drabbles. I didn’t put a word minimum on this contest specifically for that; I wanted to see how short I’d get them. I don’t want to bunker this down with analysis, because it’s just so beautiful, and I refuse to kill the magic, but it’s simple, and straightforward, and positively lovely. That last sentence is just spectacular. Beautifully done.
Requirements Met: 500 word cap, word count on summary, link to contest in summary/author’s note, photo in layout/author’s note, readable layout, grammar and spelling
Brownie Points: creativity bonus, description, creative title, original layout
That was beautiful, and short. The shortness just gave it a better effect. Your layout was perfect for the story and it was just amazing. I loved it. :)
