I think pretty much everything you write is very well written, you have a very determined way of tone, of writing/style if that makes sense. It's all so interesting why an almost transparent girl from Slytherin could enjoy watching Potter as much as she does. Why, why, why?

Wow, this is a really good piece of writing, actually. Congratulations! When I clicked on it I didn't even realize it was a Harry Potter story, but no matter, I'm now quite intrigued. What's a girl like Everton (I assume that's her surname? Her own Housemates call her by that, interesting, it sort of accentuates the semi-frosty atmosphere that she is always in, even among her "friends") doing in Slytherin? She seems really quiet, very nice, more of a Hufflepuff. But I'm sure that's just a hook to get the readers in...perhaps we'll discover soon why Everton only stands in the sidelines and watches. By the way you have a good eye for web aesthetics, too. I like the layout as Heroine said above me.
Oh, and some actual constructive critism instead of just praise, which is all very lovely for an author but doesn't make us better ones--in the second-last paragraph, you forgot some commas in your sentences. For example, "That was my clue that I had been lingering too long and I tapped my plate calmly watching it disappear into the table." There should be a comma between "plate" and "calmly." Also: "When I swept out the door, Potter was just standing and saying his goodbyes which would take much longer than mine had." A comma between "goodbyes" and "which." Other than that, though, your writing was absolutely lovely. No breaks or awkward stumbles in the middle at all. It was very pleasant to read. :)
