I just finished reading this story, big fan of all of your stories btw, and I honestly have to say that this story is my favorite. It's my favorite of all of the stories that I've ever read... which is a lot, so that means something.

I really think that the two of them should get back together, better yet, William should tell Frankie the truth... that should make things so much easier... course, not everything is easy... but enough of my rambling.

Wow, Lizzy, I think you've created a new favorite pairing of mine :tehe:
I think this story is utterly beautiful, and just so cute.
It's adorable and amazing and fluffy and sweet as all your stories are, but it's like there's something more, something really special about this, though I can't quite put my finger on it. Not yet anyway.

I love the way they met, like Frank being this flaming punk kid, being really confident, and just having that special effect on Martin who had previously really seen himself as straight. It was so cute when Frank passed all the footballplayers in tha hall, thinking everybody was the same before finally laying eyes on Martin and just being immediately captured by his looks. I love how Frank keeps thinking about how gorgeous Martin is in his tight jeans because that is definitely my favorite part of the amazing picture you have of him.

And then when the jocks waited by Frank's locker and Martin punched him, it was so sweet that Martin felt so guilty and the fact that Frank went to the football field, making Martin see him was great. I love that Martin just zoned out at the sight of him, showing just how captured he was by Frank.

Day 2: I loved everything about it. Everything from Frank getting ready and sexifying himself for Martin to when he got the note from Martin and admired his cute handwriting - I love those cute details - and then to when they met and the jocks came to beat Frank up and Martin faked it, it was so amazing. I feel like I'm just rambling and I can't quite get the feeling I felt out by using words, but it is literally amazing, perfect and brilliant.

The first kiss, holy shit it was so sweet.
I love that Frank just took a chance and went for it, not bothering with the 'What if he doesn't like me? What if he does this? What if he-' like you usually see in lame fic's. :tehe: I mean, he felt pretty sure that Martin liked him anyway, and he'd hardly lose anything, just perhaps gain some bruises and shit, but the important thing is that he didn't. And then they spent the whole lunch break making out. Like, wow. :yah

It really sucked that Martin got beat up, but it was necessary for the story and more realistic than if they had just went for Frank instead, to try and keep him away from Martin. It would have been smarter to go for Frank and threaten Martin to keep away from him that way as Martin would hardly want to see Frank hurt, and they would that way be able to keep him on the team for at least a short while. But I guess that idiots like those jocks don't think that way.

Then I really fell in love, when Frank came to the field and found Martin lying there. It was like the perfect thing, really fluffy and reminded me of when someone is injured in a war-movie and then his lover appears from nowhere in the middle of the bloody field and kneels beside him, whispering how they love him and says goodbye just before the warrior dude dies. Martin didn't die, but the whole scene reminded me of that, with the way Martin seemed so brave to Frank and how both felt guilty and everything. It's cute that Paul and Mikey left them alone to go and call the ambulance, and that when it came, I think it was good that Frank didn't go with it. At first I thought he should have, but now that I look back at it, I realize that it's more realistic that the best friend went with him and not the guy he met the day before and just happened to like a lot.

The day after was really adorable too. When Martin called Frank in Starbucks and Frank realized it was good that he found out about Martin disliking coffee and them deciding to meet in the park I just Aww-ed, for no reasoon, more than that it was cute, I guess. And then, when they did meet and Martin kissed Frank's cheek, I might have just died. That and those following chapters might be the fluffiest things you have ever written. It just blew me away. The way they were suddenly really insecure and shy again when they got to Martin's was really sweet, and like Martin said later; they were just not used to one another's company yet.

Now to the last day and the interesting appearance of Mr Bill :tehe:
I must say that I hoped for it to be Gabe just because Mikey pretty much turned gay over him, but Bill is just as good, if not even better. The coach really pissed me off when he kicked Martin out and the way Bill described him later made me hat him even more. It's so unfair to treat someone like that just because of their sexuality. It's obvious that being gay doesn't affect your sports skills. :grr: What's even worse is that he treated his son like that, and made Bill feel at first jealous and then guilty for how Martin was treated. It's not that poor boy's fault his father is a complete dick!
It's really sweet how Martin and Bill's friendship grew from being nonexistent to really close in only a matter of minutes just because of their similar and connected situations. That last hug they shared was really beautiful and shows how special small actions can be and how much they can mean between friends.
If only Frank had not seen it and gotten it all wrong. I really wish he had stopped and listened, let Martin explain what had happened and who Bill was. I hope Martin finds him and can get him to understand what both him and Bill are going through. Frank has to forgive him, and I wouldn't complain if Bill and Mikey hooked up...

That pretty much sums up what I thought of the whole story, I think. :cute:

I mean... Frartin. Haha. But seriously that whole Frank witnessing the moment things brought me back to all the high school Frerards I used to read. It was a moment of nostalgia for me. It was adorable! I was like:"NAAAAWWW LOVERS TIFF!"

But seriously this was precious. Martin's snap at Coach Beckett was bad ass. He had really good wording... like, EYE was mad at Coach Beckett. I was Martin for about five minutes. I was like:"yeah? SO what if I'm GAY?! You're an asshole!" and then I calmed down...

I can't wait to see how Martin convinces Frank it was all a missunderstanding. *wiggles eyebrows*
