anyways, I think Frank realizing that he can't fix Lily is perfect.

He realizes how imperfect she really is, and I think he needed that. Putting someone on a pedastel, even if you did cause them to lose their normal brain and/or body function and you love them like you've never loved anyone is not healthy.
