So first, when I read the story I wasn't listening to the song. My own interpretation of the song was completely different from what you wrote. To be honest I was a bit confused on how the song went with this story, because for some reason I always figured the song was about a break up, you know? The tone of the song and beat isn't all sad but a bit upbeat and angsty. but fuck man, you seriously opened my eyes!
