You have got to be kidding me, you thought this was fairly decent. It was simply amazing!!!! The way you portrayed an abuse relationship was on key, also little subtle hints of abuse with how Andrew held onto her wrist or the tightening of the jaw. Everything just fell into place and how Melody was very tidy and wanted everything to be perfect when her fiance came home. It's all what someone in that situation would do, trying to please that person and isolate themselves from everyone since the abuser doesn't want their lover to have any contact with anyone and have them to themselves. The twist was something I wasn't expecting, it was brilliant. I didn't think you would do something like that and when it all came together, ugh chica it just blew my mind how you put this together even though you were tired and stuck most of the time. You did well my friend :)
I seriously never saw that twist coming. I thought I had it pegged and BAM! Totally changed direction.
But this was just fantastic! Honestly, I'm not that big a fan of fiction involving domestic violence normally, but I absolutely loved how you portrayed Melody's thoughts towards her abuser and her friend as being quite different, but without cutting up the plot so much that it takes away from the story.
This is an absolutely brilliant piece of fiction and I really hope you place in the contest.
This was absolutely amazing. I loved it and the twist, oh my god I wouldn't have guessed it to be that....haha. Great job and I hope you place in the contest.
