Stay strong. Us who struggle with this have to stay together

Hi, I read this story after reading your comment swap journal. I have been sruggling with self injury for a year now and so far it's been almost a 4 weeks since the last time I cut. I have a friend that I told about my self injury and he is the reason I'm trying to stop, but ever since I told him he hasn't talked to me, so I've been close to doing it again, but I'm trying to stay strong..for him because Iove him.

Wow...just wow. I took 5,000 mgs of Ibuprofen as my suicide attempt too. I was so angry when I woke up the next day. I ended up burning a hole through my stomach and I was really nauseous for weeks. I'm glad you're really strong today though. I've been out the hospital for three months and haven't done a thing since then. I'll tell you what my good friend told me, "Ugly scars don't belong on pretty girls" :)
