I think what you have here is very interesting. I know there are a lot of adoption-based fanfics, but I don't think they're overdone because each author gives their story a unique twist. And I don't think I've ever seen a Bam adoption story, so kudos to you.

One piece of advise though: you're supposed to start a new paragraph when a new person talks. It kinds annoys me because I have to pick apart every paragraph to find out who said what. But it's not just your story, trust me.

Other than this tiny issue, I think you have something very nice here and I wish you the best of luck.
